WHat’s On?

5 Mugs No Tea started in 2023 as a collaboration between Emma, Dan, Calvin, and Andrew (reverse alphabetical order) we would have a guest selected from up and coming comedians across Edinburgh, the UK, Europe, and beyond!

Over the years our guests have included nominees and recipients of awards as prestigious as ISH Best Newcomer Award and Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award. We would like to claim credit, but autistic honesty prevents us from doing so.

Mugs has evolved a lot since its beginnings, with some leaving and some joining, the final membership of Mugs is Andrew Burnett and Shubba – we usually have 3 guests.

August 2026 will be the last chance to see 5 Mugs No Tea – Andrew and Shubba will officiate the euthanasia of Mugs at our final show on 26th August at 20:00, as usual, in Leith Depot.
